Overview

The man-up three-way forklift is the flagship of VORTEX's high-altitude family. The operator cabin rises with the mast to 18 m, putting eyes and forks on the same load level for true blind-free picking.

A 180° rotating fork paired with a 1.75 m narrow aisle multiplies storage density in VNA warehouses, cold stores and 3PL operations. The electrical system is sized for continuous multi-shift duty.

Safety System

The man-up platform carries full-height guardrails, harness interlocks and tilt alarms. Lift speed is limited automatically and travel is locked out above safe fork height — multiple interlocks aligned with EN ISO 3691.

Q: How flat must the floor be for 18 m picking?
We recommend within ±3 mm per 2 m (EN 15635). Uneven floors can be corrected or rail-guided — we assess on site.

Q: Does the cold-store version need special maintenance?
No — electrics and hydraulics are specified for low temperature and condensation; service intervals stay the same as ambient versions.
